Washing Your Surratt Brushes: We recommend washing your brushes once a week. To make the experience more enjoyable, use a light, conditioning shampoo with a fragrance you love. Under warm water, gently lather the bristles, and rinse thoroughly until no visible lather or pigment remains.
Drying Your Surratt Brushes: To ensure your brushes are dried thoroughly, and to maintain their longevity, we suggest drying them on a towel placed on a cookie sheet. Position the brushes so that the bristles face down, and the handles rest on the edge of the cookie sheet. This will ensure that any remaining moisture flows away from the metal and wood parts of the brush.

Using up my single shadows thanks to this? Swipe once in the pan, swipe once across my lid & I'm done! It really is that easy. Hesitated getting this stiffer brush in addition to the super soft candle shapes, but I’m finally using up all those single shadows left languishing in my drawer because they were too much work to get right. Workhorse of a brush for out the door fast.

I removed a star because this brush came with a very visible scratch on the black matte portion of the handle :( For $55, I expect this brush to arrive in pristine condition.
Otherwise, it’s a pretty standard Surratt brush with soft bristles that provides a diffused eye look with just a few swipes.
