As I age I find a foundation that is not thick and heavy is better. This covers well and looks more natural.
The oil-free formula provides natural-looking, medium-to-full coverage and a long-wearing finish. The foundation is dispensed through an attached brush, for effortless application and quick touch-ups.
In 20 shades.
"To refill: Unscrew the empty foundation refill from bottom of the wand. Remove the cap from the top of the replacement refill, and screw it back into the wand.
On first use, prime the wand by depressing the button several times (10 usually does the trick) to advance the foundation to the top of the brush. One full pump is enough to cover the entire face; use two pumps for fuller coverage.

I love the product itself but not the brush application. The formula and coverage are perfect .

The foundation is really gorgeous. If you like Dew Drop but want a bit more coverage, this is for you. It looks so natural on the skin but gives a nice polished look. It's easily buildable and very friendly to dry skin. I don't like to use a lot of foundation, so it might seem contrary for me to like this medium-coverage foundation, but I like the fuller coverage foundations because I can use very little and get a wonderful look.
Now as for the packaging, it is awful. Surreal Skin comes in a brush-delivery system where you have to apply it through the brush. This isn't sanitary, and it doesn't work for someone like me who likes to apply foundation with fingers. So I decided I would just buy the refill wand. Well, that's a way to get just the foundation, however, the tube is long and narrow and though it has a cap you can unscrew to get to the foundation, there's no way to actually get it out unless you use a spatula.
Recommendation to Surratt: sell this in a wand where you can either screw on a pump or use it with your brush. That way, everyone will be happy.
My skin is dry and neutral fair with slightly cool overtones and slightly warm undertones. Shade 3 is perfect. If you use Shade 3 in Dew Drop, the same shade in Surreal Skin is pretty much identical.
I absolutely love the idea of this… problem with the refills is they stop working. I’ve had to unscrew the refills in order to use the product directly from the tube instead of pumping the product through the brush. Definitely going back to buying the wands and will stay away from the refills. The wands also need a refillable brush head however please fix the foundation liquid refill first.
I was so excited to be able to get a refill for the foundation wand. Unfortunately, it worked for only about one week. Even though there is more makeup in there, it will not dispense no matter how many times I pump it. I had to order a new wand - no more refill for me.
